AVON — The only thing that can match the Currenti family’s passion for food is their passion for family. The family, which owns Fratelli’s Restaurant enters 2015 with their renovation complete and their patrons ecstatic about the improvements.
Fratelli’s opened in 1996, taking over the old burger joint Callahan’s on Lakeville Road. Since their opening, brothers Robert, Anthony and David Currenti have been filling customer cravings for Italian food with their freshly baked bread, rich red sauce and generous portions on a regular basis.
“Our family loves food and we love where we are,” said Davide Currenti. “We listen to our customers and our reviews and want everyone to be as happy as possible.”
According to online reviews about Fratelli’s, the food is always top notch but the decor of the place needed modernization. In response to this, the brothers knocked down a wall and expanded the bar and cocktail area 2,500 square feet and added an outdoor patio.
The family choose locally owned contract company Lake Construction for the project, and they continue to perfect the finishing touches on the magnificent renovation.
“We can now easily host holiday parties and other events,” said Currenti. “We expanded our draft beer list and will have will now have a regular happy hour.”
This New Year’s Eve, customers can get a great look at their expansion with a prime rib special that is priced right and sure to be delicious.
