LETCHWORTH – The York Golden Knights bounced back tonight with a win over the Letchworth Indians 32-8.
York started out hot, opening the game with a 70 yard screen pass to Patrick Dishaw for a touchdown just 2 minutes into the game.
“We’re mixing up running and passing real well” said Dishaw. “Our defense was great tonight, they didn’t have a lot of mistakes and really helped us come out on top.”
Another impressive night for Tyler Shutts with 5-9 completions for 237 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Knights defense was the real story tonight. The defense had a combined total of 5 interceptions and held Letchworth to an impressive 8 points.
The Knights are now 3-2 and will host Bolivar-Richburg next Friday night at 7:30.
