GENESEO – The Geneseo Blue Devils shut out the Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines 30-0 Friday night at home.
Geneseo controlled the game with stifling defense and efficient offensive possessions. Senior Jake Clar scored the first touchdown for the Blue Devils with 8:08 left in the 1st quarter. Seniors Ryan Lagrou and Cory Valentine each scored a touchdown in the 2nd quarter bringing the score to 22-0 at halftime. Valentine scored a second touchdown in the 3rd quarter to make it 30-0.

“The key to our success was just playing responsibility football,” said assistant coach Chris Davidson. “We came out and played just as tough as they did, and probably even tougher in the end.”
The Blue Devils next game will be at home against York on Friday, September 19 at 7:30p.m.
