LIVINGSTON COUNTY – A flash flood watch is in effect from 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon to 10 p.m.Tuesday evening. This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of western and north Central New York.
According to the National Weather Service, a slow-moving cold front will cross Western New York during the day on Thursday, and numerous showers and thunderstorms along and ahead of this front will likely produce significant rainfall.
South to north-moving storms will be moving over the same areas, possibly leading to some flash flooding.
This risk could be high enough and over a large enough area to warrant other flash flood watches from the National Weather Service.
