LIVINGSTON COUNTY — A Mount Morris woman who was found guilty of DWI, fleeing, reckless endangerment, and numerous other charges has failed to meet the terms of her probation and is off to state prison.
Jane Fixter, 51, appeared in front of Jugde Dennis Cohen after failing to complete her alcohol treatment requirements. As a result of the violation she will serve 1 to 3 years in state prison.
The original incident, which took place in July of 2010, started when Fixter was driving on 390 southbound, where Sheriff Deputies attempted to pull her ove
r and she fled. When she exited in Mount Morris they were waiting with stop sticks that punctured the two front tires of her car.
“Obviously, you’ve burned a lot of bridges in Livingston County,” said Judge Cohen during sentencing. “You’ve missed a good chance.”
