MOUNT MORRIS — Stop by Livingston Arts at 4 Murray Hill Drive in Mount Morris this Saturday for live music, food, and exhibit openings.
The new exhibit “Places,” featuring Works Progress Administration, or WPA, artwork and corresponding information about specific places opens in the New Deal Gallery, as well as an exhibit opening in Apartment One Gallery featuring local artists Kala Stein and Mert Wager.
The event also features Traditional Arts Director Karen Canning’s presentation All Steamed Up: a Mexican tamale and pastele demonstration and tasting as part of the Festive Foodways series from 1-3 p.m.
The bands Steel Alchemy, Stick Boom Papa, and Nickel City Band will play during the event.
Food by Dominic’s Cart, including hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian sausage, shrimp in a spicy sauce, and cannolis will be for sale all day.
