No one is believed to be injured.

Firefighters arrived to find flames coming from the second story.

The hot afternoon presented a common challenge to firefighters. After the fire was brought under control, fire company commanders ordered exterior firefighters to take off their airpacks to stay cool. Numerous ambulances are on standby at the scene.

Lima’s fire department was first to the scene and held off sending firefighters into the structure until mutual aid fire companies arrived.

There were plenty of mutual aid fire companies, including: East Avon, Livonia, Hemlock, West Bloomfield and Honeoye Falls.

Ambulance crews include Lima, Avon, Livingston County and Honeoye Falls Mendon.

The Livingston County Office of Emergency Management is investigating with the help of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.

As of 4:40 p.m., Doran Road is closed to vehicular traffic.
