LIVINGSTON COUNTY — Livingston County’s Villages are spreading Christmas cheer with holiday events galore.

There is a Christmas Luncheon on Dec. 2 from 11:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Big Springs Museum in Caledonia. The museum is open to the public with over 400 dolls on display, and for $8 you can get a warm bowl of soup, a sandwich, a drink and dessert.
In Mount Morris, enjoy breakfast, a visit with Santa, crafts, music and games for kids at ‘Breakfast with Santa’ on Dec. 2 starting at 9 a.m. at Kids Start Leham building. All children 12 and under are welcome, the event is free you only have bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Kid Start backpacking program.
In Geneseo, Christmas in the Village comes to Main Street Dec. 2 starting at 12 pm. There will be a cookie stroll and elf stroll on Main Street, horse-drawn wagon rides, and you get the chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus followed by the lighting of the tree in the Village Park and a parade to the Bear fountain for the ChristmaSing.
Wadsworth Library in Geneseo will be hosting ‘Make Your Own Gingerbread House’ on Dec. 7 starting at 6:30 p.m. free of charge. All you need to do is register. The event ‘Crafting With Cindy’ will also be held there on Dec. 13 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. where families can make Christmas trees and angels.
Dansville is hosting ‘Winter in the Village’ on Dec. 2 starting at 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. The village comes alive with activities including; the annual Arts & Crafts Sale, Santa lighting the Christmas trees in Church Park and many more. The tradition of the Wine Tasting Tour has become an annual highlight, featuring a multitude of New York wineries.
Nunda will have ‘Christmas in Nunda,’ on Dec. 9. The event starts at 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and includes breakfast with Santa, fireworks, and local vendors. The Christmas parade starts at 6:15 p.m. after the festivities.
