LIVONIA — As the leaves began to fall, autumn was embraced at Livonia’s Annual Autumn in the Village.
This year marked the eleventh year that the Livonia community proudly hosted Autumn in the Village that was fun for adults and children alike.
“My favorite season is the fall, so it’s nice to have a festival that is fall themed and local,” said Nicole Cross of Livonia.
Cross has lived in Livonia for eight years and has brought her family to the Autumn in the Village Festival every year.
“My kids love the parade and the bounce houses,” said Cross. “There is definitely enough to keep them occupied.”
Though the Autumn in the Village Festival offered many attractions such as craft vendors, food, bounce houses, face painting, music, and more, the main attraction seemed to the parade.
“This parade is so much better than all the other parades in the surrounding small towns,” said Shari Young of Livonia.
Young attends the festival every year with her sister Ann.
“There were a lot more bands this year,” said Young. “The parade was a lot bigger than it was last year.”
As children’s faces lit up with excitement at all that the festival had to offer, Autumn in the Village is sure to be a harvest of memories.
