LIVONIA – A local man was arraigned on multiple felony charges on Thursday for allegedly barging into an ex-girlfriend’s house on Halloween, threatening her with a knife, and pushing her.
Shane Quick, 31, stands charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, a C violent felony, Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, an E felony, Menacing in the Second Degree, an A misdemeanor, and Harassment in the Second Degree, a violation.
The alleged victim had an active complete stayaway order of protection against Quick on Halloween.
Quick waived his right to have his case reviewed by a Grand Jury and chose to proceed by Superior Court Information. A pre-plea investigation was ordered by his attorney, John Lockhart.
Quick has been released on bail from the Livingston County Jail and will return to county court at a later date.
