I have faith in the community of Livingston County. I believe people will educate themselves with the facts regarding this highly contested Sheriff Race. I ask that you please view the debate held at Geneseo High School that the two candidates participated in. Please see for yourself which candidate is prepared to begin on day one. I also beg you to please always consider your source when you are gathering information, some have deceptive motives. I am here to inform you about Jim Szczesniak. I believe he is the best candidate for Livingston County Sheriff.
Jim is the son of a hard working blue collar family, raised with integrity and respect. He has earned everything he has, his accomplishments are his alone. Jim is not a self appointed “Deputy Hero” and he will not try to impress you with embellished stories of family and career experiences. Jim Szczesniak speaks the truth and has solutions for difficult situations. He does not need to rely on others for manufactured responses in the attempt to mislead, or a partner’s respected family reputation in the attempt to get elected. We are electing one man…The Sheriff of Livingston County, not an Under Sheriff.
Jim Szczesniak knows what dedication is, he lives it. He has been married for over 24 years, raised a son, and is committed not only to his family but to each and every one of us in our community since 1985. Jim takes his responsibilities very seriously and has high standards for himself as well as those around him. Clearly a quality some of his subordinates do not appreciate. It breaks my heart to read or hear the constant systematic character assassination the other candidate’s campaign has engaged in months prior to Jim announcing his candidacy for Sheriff. Please do not believe this false propaganda against Jim. I don’t appreciate negative politics? Do you?
Jim Szczesniak is a good honest man that has dedicated himself to each and every one of us in the Livingston County Community. This election is not about you thinking a candidate is attractive, or you knowing his family, going to school, or knowing him as a young child. The question I would like to pose to all of you is…How does any of that prepare a candidate to direct our county during an emergency crisis? I believe this is the true issue, please stay focused on that fact.
Jim Szczesniak is here for all of us. He is not here for a photo opt, television appearance, dreams of grandeur, or ego. Jim has been serving all of us with integrity and dedication for years, gaining the knowledge and experience to lead Livingston County’s Law Enforcement Team, not just a few disgruntled Deputies that happen to be friends.
This election is truly about you…you making an informed decision based on the truth regarding the candidate I support. Please do the right thing for all of us in Livingston County. Cast your vote for the more qualified and experienced candidate on Nov. 5th,
Vote for Jim Szczesniak for Livingston County Sheriff. You will not regret that decision.
