EMAIL TO THE EDITOR: ‘Not Impressed with Sciarrino’s Morals’

I wanted someone to hear an interesting story about Mr. Sciarrino that I believe leads into his character and that maybe should know a little more about him prior to the election.

Last year I purchased his father’s home on Conesus Lake. Ray, Jr. had the nerve to hire someone to come in and dig out the blue-stone patio on the property prior to me taking possession of said property. If you look on the survey map, it clearly stated it was on the property. The day I closed I went to check on the house and found a large area of mud on the property and all the stone was gone. I asked the neighbors if they had seen someone digging at the property and they gave me the name of the person who Ray hired to dig the stone and take it to his personal property. I called this person and he claimed he was hired by Ray Jr. and that after he got the stone to his house had not even paid him for the work.

I called my closing attorney Steve Sessler and informed him of the theft. He then called Ray Jr. and I had given three solutions to the situation.
1) return the stone and have it professionally installed back to a patio
2) pay me for the installation and value of the stone
3) I would have him arrested for Grand Larceny.

After a lot of side-stepping, he chose option #1. Close to a month passed and I still saw no movement on his part to return or have the stone installed. Again I called Mr. Sessler and told him he had one week to return the stone and arrange the installation or I would call the police. He did have someone return the stone within that time frame. However, it is now over a year later and still no attempt at getting them re-installed. They are a danger and haphazard as they currently are on the property. I have contacted a couple of local attorneys, and even though they feel I have a strong case, they feel it would damage their chances in court if they were to go against him at this time.

I am writing to you to show people what he really is like. I feel that he thinks I am a single woman and he can run roughshod over me. I at this point will take any help in settling this matter. Most important I have learned the moral character of Mr. Raymond Sciarrino Jr. and have to say I am not impressed. I would hope if he were to hold an office as DA, that he make a better judgment call and present himself in a better light.
