GENESEO – The following is an email submitted by Matt Cole to the GeneseeSun.com for publication. The attitudes and ideas expressed below should not be interpreted as the opinion of the GeneseeSun.com.
As a three-term board member of the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce, a small business owner, and corporate executive, Robert Deming has the business experience and leadership skills to grow the Village of Geneseo’s business community.
From an executive standpoint, he has a proven track record of profitably managing a $10M/year business unit of 30+ professionals, requiring detailed strategic planning and successful execution and delivery. While this bolsters Robert’s qualifications for Village Trustee, it is his work with local businesses that sets him apart.
He has been a dedicated board member with active participation in many of the Chamber’s events and activities outside of regular board meetings. Robert is a graduate of the Chamber’s Leadership Livingston program and was a technology mentor with the Young Entrepreneurs Academy. He has taught technology classes to Chamber members and implemented technology solutions for both the Chamber and Livingston County Economic Development. As a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Robert has collaborated on some of the Chamber’s most successful programs to attract and retain business members, as well as services that help members grow their businesses.
Robert Deming is an advocate for small business and a devoted member of the community. He would be an excellent addition to the Village of Geneseo Board of Trustees.
