LIVONIA – Dr. Sandra Eleczko on Big Tree Road is a one-stop spot to whiten your teeth and give to the Smiles For Life Campaign, which raises money for the local children’s charity Ronald McDonald House as well as other children’s charities both nationally and internationally.
The campaign runs from March 1 until June 30, meaning that all whitening procedures come at a discount, and all proceeds are contributed directly to the Ronald McDonald House and the Smiles for Life Foundation. According to Dr. Eleczko’s office, this is the second year that they have participated in the campaign, after raising $1,200 last year for these charities.
“Smiles For Life allows a person to help children in need by doing something that benefits them as well,” explains Greg Anderson, director of the Crown Council. “Dr. Eleczko and her team donate their time and expertise, while Ultradent generously provides all Opalescence whitening products. You receive a brighter smile, and, best of all, provide children with a brighter future.”
Since its creation, the Crown Council’s Smiles For Life Campaign has raised over $34,500,000 for seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged kids. Donations from last year alone totaled $1.5 million. Smiles For Life hopes to break the $36 million mark for total collections during this year’s drive.
Anyone interested in donating directly to the Smiles for Life Foundation without teeth whitening can do here. Participants can also refer friends to Dr. Sandra Eleczko by linking to the Smiles for Life site.
Donations will be evenly split between the Ronald McDonald House and Smiles For Life Foundation to support national and international initiatives, including programs in the Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Guatemala. Smiles For Life also maintains a strong longtime partnership with the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation supporting Child Life Zones in Children’s Hospitals across the United States.
The Crown Council is an alliance of driven, dedicated dentists who are committed to excellence in their practice, improving their patients’ oral health and bettering the communities around them. By creating the Smiles For Life Foundation in 1998, the Crown Council has been able to provide a way for dentists to serve others through charitable work.
