GENESEO – A Geneseo man was arrested for selling cocaine and heroin in the Village after an investigation by the Livingston County Drug Task Force and a raid of his apartment in the Highlands on Meadow Drive.
According to a press release from Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian, Gilberto Rivera Ramos, 32, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a B felony, and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a B felony, on Nov. 21, following the raid by Geneseo Police and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 5.

“We recovered some drug paraphernalia from his apartment,” said Chief Osganian. “We’re still looking into some of the items.”
The Superior Court Warrant for Ramos’ arrest was signed by Livingston County Court Judge Robert Wiggins. Ramos was arrested and transported to the Livingston County Jail to await the next Livingston County Court session.
