LIVONIA — Last evening first responders were dispatched to the area of Plank Road and Stone Hill Road for a report of a single vehicle incident.
According to a report from the Livonia Fire Department, after being dispatched at approximately 10:30 p.m., the first arriving units found a vehicle on the side of the roadway and rolled with the driver trapped in his seat. The vehicle had appeared to roll multiple times.
Plank Road at Stone Hill Road and Woodruff Road was shut down.
Firefighters were able to extract the victim who was transported to a local hospital by Livonia EMS where non-life threatening injuries were found and the roadway was reopened at 11:20 p.m.
The Responding Units were: Chief Fennell (2501), Chief Woodruff (2502), Engine 256 (Lt McGregor), Engine 254 (Lt Connolly), Squad 251 (Fire Police Capt Dewey) and multiple Fire Police units; from Hemlock FD Chief 2601, Chief 2602, Engine 265, and Tanker 267, from Lakeville FD, Chief 21 and Engine 215, from the Livonia EMS Supervisor 2961, Medic 74, ambulance 2982, the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and the assistance from the Livingston County E911 Center.
