GENESEO – The elderly driver of a red SUV left Rte. 20A headed towards Leicester and jumped a culvert before running into the middle of an open farmer’s field Saturday evening, and reportedly suffers from memory loss.
Apparently, the driver’s Buick Enclave crossed a lane of traffic and ran over a roadside culvert before landing on grass and driving through the farm field at about 6:20 p.m., and has no memory of doing so.
Neither the male driver nor his female passenger were injured in the accident.
By the time first responders arrived, the driver had already backed his vehicle out of the farm field and was waiting on the grass for assistance.
