WEST SPARTA – After a dump truck crashed through a guardrail on the side of Rte. 36 and fell into a creek, tearing the back of the truck from the front, the driver had to be driven up the side of the ditch in a ATV from Dansville Ambulance and taken from the scene in a Life Net helicopter.
The dump truck, from Morgan’s Waste based in Dansville, was carrying a load of garbage which spilled into the creek and made a call to the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) necessary to survey possible contamination.
