LIVONIA —Livingston County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to Route 15 A/Plank Road in Livonia for a single-vehicle roll-over motor vehicle accident which a driver ran from.
According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, the driver was the sole occupant of the 1997 Honda Civic. A witness at the scene said the man appeared to have a head injury and ran into the woods.
After a search of the woods and surrounding area with Livingston County Sheriff’s Office K9 units, several units from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police, Kirk M. Brockman was apprehended in a wooded area. Brockman, 35, from Honeoye, was operating on a suspended New York State license.
Brockman was issued several Vehicle and Traffic Summons and a DWI. Brockman was transported to Thompson Hospital in Canadaguia with minor injuries.
Investigating at the scene was Investigator Dougherty, Sgt. Zambito, Dep. Whitford, Dep. Cartwright, Dep. Holt, Dep. Cutting and Dep. Swanson of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office. Trooper White, Trooper Histead, Trooper Bianchi and Trooper Faugh of the New York State Police. New York State Police Aviation also assisted.
