Dougherty receives Sheriff’s Association endorsement

LIVINGSTON COUNTY — Livingston County Sheriff Candidate Thomas Dougherty recently received an important endorsement for the November 2013 election.

The Livingston County Deputy Sheriff’s Association (L.C.D.S.A.) announced their endorsement for Dougherty after a special election held by members of the association.

Both candidates for the office of Livingston County Sheriff, Thomas Dougherty and James Szcezesniak, met with association members on two separate occasions. They were given the opportunity to inform members about their campaign platforms, their vision for the department, and could address any questions or concerns members held.

In a press release Dougherty stated, “It means the world to me to know that the employees are supporting me. It reiterates that the members of the Department feel that there is a need for a positive change. I cannot think of a better compliment than from the workforce that knows me best.”
