CALEDONIA — Caledonia kicked off the little league season with it’s traditional parade and honored one of it’s long time coaches, Terry Donegan, for his years of service.
Donegan, who started coaching little league baseball right out of High School, coached for a total of 12 years.
Over 50 players gathered this year as Donegan and Village Deputy Mayor Scott DiLiberto each threw out ceremonial first pitches.
“Terry has greatly contributed to the success of baseball here,” said league president Dan Harmon. “It’s not very often where you see an 18-year-old coaching the game.”
