GENESEO — A doctor’s office employee has been arrested for petit larceny after being suspected of stealing co-pay fees.
According to a press release from Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, James Mitchell was allegedly stealing the co-pays from people as they checked into the doctors office. It is alleged that since August of 2013 Mitchell has swiped over $400 worth of co-pay fees.

Sheriff Dougherty would like to credit Investigator Dan Rittenhouse, Deputy Ross Gerace, Deputy Steph Schroeder, and Deputy Mike Yencer. Mitchell was issued an appearance
ticket and is due in the Town of Geneseo Court at a later date.
