YORK — A former York School District employee has been charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and witness tampering, both misdemeanors.
Allegedly, Amber Burdick, 25, had what court sources are calling an ‘inappropriate’ relationship with several students. Burdick appeared in front of Judge Purtell alongside her mom and a family friend to face the charges.
According to the York Central School District yearbook and her Linkedin page, Burdick served as a hallway and study hall monitor. Sources additionally state that she resigned from her position last week.
