LIVONIA – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people on felony charges for possessing what is believed to be a stolen vehicle and for thieving some merchandise from West’s Shurfine on Main Street.
According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Monica Bailey, 34, and Bruce Washington, 58, were arrested for felony Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree. Washington was also arrested for misdemeanor Petit Larceny.
“The car was reported stolen out of Gates on February 10,” said Livingston County Chief Deputy Matt Burgess. “Deputies located stolen property in the vehicle that was taken from West’s Shurfine.”
A Deputy stopped the car at about 9 p.m. Monday.
Both Bailey and Washington are currently held at the Livingston County Jail without bail.
