CONESUS- Deer Run Winery is set to hold a massive benefit concert next Wednesday evening for the American Red Cross.
The concert will run from 6pm to 9pm under a large tent at the Deer Run premises, 3772 West Lake Road in Conesus. Wine and cheese from the winery will be available, as well as food from the 3 Legged Pig restaurant, who will be on site from Lakeville.
“There is no ticket price,” said Scott Kuyon, owner of Deer Run Winery, “but donations are encouraged. We estimate that we will receive one donation per vehicle of guests.”
Kuyon added that for every glass of wine sold at the event, 50 cents will go to the Red Cross. Wine sales will be recorded, and at the end of the night Deer Run will make out one big check to the Red Cross.
The concert will feature Teagan & the Tweeds from Rochester, who released a new album this month in Buffalo.
It will be a rain or shine event, so in case of rain attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to spread out under the tent.
