DANSVILLE— Kathleen White, 53, was arrested for falsifying business records, a first degree felony.
According to a press release from Livingston County Sheriff, Thomas Dougherty, the arrest occurred on May 30 after White called to complain about a ticket from a traffic stop in June of 2017. White alleged that she had never received the original ticket, which was for driving with a suspended registration, and that someone had used her name.
After investigating, Sheriff’s Deputies determined that White had been the one to receive the original ticket, and had allegedly used a false name because her license was suspended at the time. White was arrested and charged with felony Falsifying Business Records in the 1st Degree, along with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree and Operating an Unregistered Vehicle, all which originated from the initial traffic stop.
White was arraigned at the Town of Geneseo Court before Judge Houston, who remanded White to the Sheriff’s custody on $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
