Dansville Swim Team Comes Home With Individual Personal Best Times

The Dansville Swim team had a great meet on Thursday night at the Livingston County Championships.

The team came home with new qualifiers for the sectional meet in February in several events and personal best times from almost every athlete.

Notable swims came from Timmy O’Toole in the 500 free where he dropped 8 seconds for a personal best and 3rd place finish! Mason Wolcott swam to a personal best in his 200 free as well as his 100 breaststroke for a close second place finish. Jordan Camacho had an outstanding night with personal bests in both of his individual events, All the first year swimmers had a great meet including Jeffrey Birmingham and Conner Knapp who will travel with the team to compete at sectionals after an impressive 50 free performance!

The Kreiley brothers are two swimmers that took the stage at the meet with incredible swims by both. Zack swam away with dropped times in both individual events and finished top 8 in both events AS AN 8TH GRADER!!!! Talk of the meet was Junior Aidan Kreiely! He had an astounding meet with a 2 state cut times, a Conference meet record in the 200 free, and 2 first place finishes in his individual events.

LCAA all stars were named at this meet as well, congratulations to Senior Austin Weaver, Juniors Aidan Kreiely and Mason Wolcott and Sophmore Timmy O’Toole!
