Parents of students in the Dansville School District were informed this week that the district is closing its buildings for instruction until Nov. 30.
The primary and elementary schools will be closed Friday, Nov. 20, and will switch to remote learning on Monday and Tuesday of next week. The high school will switch to asynchoronous teaching on Friday, and will continue with it next week on Monday and Tuesday. There will be no transportation to BOCES, but student should expect to hear from BOCES teachers next week how to proceed.
The closure of the buildings was prompted by the news that there were employees with Covid 19 in each of the buildings. Health will be monitored until Nov. 30 to see if schools will return to in-person instruction after Nov. 30.
