Dansville’s “Kidding Around Downtown” fun for all

DANSVILLE — Dansville’s Main Street merchants are banding together Sept. 1 to bring the community a day of family friendly fun.

The “Kidding Around Downtown” events begin at 10 a.m. and go until 3 p.m. and include decorating the sidewalks with chalk art masterpieces, playing old fashioned games like hopscotch, tic-tac-toe & London calling, creating friendship bracelets, bookmarks and origami art, designing coffee cups, creating tasty treats and more. Folks can even walk into a hot air balloon.

The current merchants and artisans participating are:

 Clockworks Liquor & Wine – wine tasting [21 yrs & older, 1-3 pm]
 The Star Theatre – chalk Aart & popcorn
 Tony’s Pizzeria – chalk art headquarters & old fashioned games

 Tasty Too! Cupcakes & More – create your own tasty treat [12pm – 2pm] + 10% off all orders with NYSFOB admissions bracelet

 MacFadden’s Coffee Co – design your own coffee cup
