Dansville Runs At Boys Track & Field Section V State Qualifiers

On Friday, June 3rd, the Dansville Boys Track and Field team competed in the Section V State Qualifier meet held at Eastridge High School. The boys competed in Division 2, which are the top athletes from all five Class B sectional classes.  To earn a place in the event, athletes needed to be in the top 16 for laned events or top 12 in all other events.  There were a total of 76 schools competing in Division 2.  Here are the top finishers for Dansville:

DeShawn Owens – 200m – 5th place

Dawson Wadsworth – 800m – 6th place

Ethan Canfield – shot put – 5th place

4x100m Relay – Collin Gray, Tyler Harris, Patrik Puffer, DeShawn Owens – 5th place

4x400m Relay – Dawson Wadsworth, Andrew Morrow, Tyler Harris, Reese Dixon – 4th place

There were many personal records set at the meet.
