The driver was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Rte. 36 (Hornell Road) is still closed at Sandy Hill Road as crews replace the pole.

The Sheriff’s Office posted to Facebook at 6:17 a.m. that the road should be closed for another 4 to 5 hours. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

No power outages are currently reported for Dansville.

NYSEG reports 40 people are without power in Hornell, but does not report whether that is related to this accident.
