DANSVILLE — Dansville Central School and the New York State Association for Computers and Technology in Education (NYSCATE) will host over 140 educators and administrators for Google Camp where they will discuss and learn about technology in the classroom.
The event will take place on August 20 and will also be attended by numerous nation technology education companies like McGraw Hill Education, Meridian IT, and Verizon.
“We strive to be leaders in technology for learning,” said Kim Derrenbacher, Public Relations Liaison for Dansville Central School. “We are positioning ourselves for continued growth in technology and are excited to be partnering with NYSCATE and fellow educators in furthering technology for learning.”
According to Derrenbacher the idea for the Camp was a result of a conversation she had with Dr. Amy Perry-DelCorvo, president of NYSCATE. The day long event will take place from 8 a..m. until 3:30 p.m.
