DANSVILLE – Dansville ArtWorks is currently displaying visual art from students from around Livingston County in its 4th Annual Student Art Showcase.

“Every year the work continues to amaze us, how inventive, creative, the quality, the variety. It’s just exciting to see emerging artists,” said Nicole Alioto, Artworks Board President. “Sometimes it is their first time being on display outside of school or the home.”
New this year, Dansville ArtWorks will award four cash prizes of $25, one each per grade levels K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12; awardees will be selected by Dansville ArtWorks’ board of directors. Presentations will be made on Saturday, January 26, 2019, from 3-5pm. This event is free and open to the public. Participants, their friends, families and teachers are encouraged to attend. Students work will continued to be displayed until February 23, 2019.
“We are thrilled we can provide the opportunity and encourage students to be involved and grow,” Alioto said.
Dansville ArtWorks Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to cultivate and enhance the visual, literary and performing arts opportunities in the greater Dansville community.
