DANSVILLE— Local nonprofit is accepting student art submissions for annual showcase.
Dansville ArtWorks is seeking visual art submissions from students in grades K-12 for their 4th Annual Student Art Showcase, which will be open to the public Jan. 4-26.
“One entry per student in grades K-12 are welcome. A parent, teacher or other responsible adult must be the point of contact for all entries,” Dansville ArtWorks stated. “There is no submission fee.”
Unlike in years past, Dansville ArtWorks now plans to offer four cash prizes for the strongest work based on grade level. The board of directors will choose winners and present the awards at a reception on the final day of the exhibit, Jan. 26, 3-5pm. This event will be open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
To submit work, students and their representatives must bring it to Dansville ArtWorks on Dec. 20 and 21, 12-6pm, or Dec. 22, 10am-2pm. Teachers submitting multiple pieces must contact Dansville ArtWorks for submission documents.
