DANSVILLE – District Attorney Greg McCaffrey says he is looking into possible license infractions by Tracy Abbott, who was arrested and charged with Manslaughter after he crashed his pickup truck into a house, fatally injuring 4-month-old Calin Fly.

According to news partner 13WHAM, court paperwork says that Abbott, 51, who is known to occasionally suffer from seizures, told police his last seizure was a month or more prior to the crash, and he took his medication that morning, but the DA McCaffrey is focused on whether Abbott reported his seizure condition to the DMV or not.
“What the law requires is you have to affirmatively or negatively answer certain questions to apply or renew a driver’s license,” said DA McCaffrey to 13WHAM, “and I think if you make misrepresentation or fail to disclose something that you may or may not have knowledge of that that’s a real issue.”
According to court paperwork, he remembers going to turn onto a road near his house, next thing he knew he was waking up in his truck inside of a house.
Calin Fly, who was in a baby swing in the dining room, passed away after five days at Strong Memorial Hospital.
The family just moved back into the home last week.
Abbott posted bail and pled not guilty on Thursday.
