Cuomo Threatens NY With More Restrictions

 

Gov. Andrew Cuomo threatened even more restrictions guaranteed to further hurt NY’s businesses and overall economy even further if the number of COVID-19 cases continue to rise.

“If these measures aren’t sufficient to reduce the spread — we’ll turn the valve more and part of that would be reducing the number of people indoor dining,” Cuomo stated flatly.  And if that doesn’t work, the governor threatened further measures such as eliminating indoor dining at bars and restaurants and other complete closedowns.  This includes both indoor dining and gyms.

Just this past Wednesday he announced new restrictions including a 10 pm curfew on restaurants, bars and gyms statewide.

Additionally, Cuomo announced a new 10-person cap on parties and other gatherings in private residences, including apartments and houses.
