LIVINGSTON COUNTY – Governor Andrew Cuomo temporarily banned tractor trailers from hauling empty trailers due to high winds that have already toppled at least one empty trailer in northern Livingston County.
According to our news partner News10NBC, the Governor’s ban affects all counties under the high wind advisory, which includes Livingston County.
High winds were to blame for a tractor trailer rollover accident on Simpson Road at Anderson Road in York Wednesday afternoon.
Tree limbs and debris are blocking side roads and making driving hazardous.
Many residents are without power in Caledonia. National Grid reports that blackouts are not expected to be fixed until Thursday afternoon.
