LIVONIA — The Livonia Bull Dogs had another great showing at their home meet tonight.
The Women’s team came away victorious, defeating Dansville, Alexander, and Holley. The Men had an excellent showing themselves, defeating Holley and Alexander, but ultimately falling to Dansville.
“I’m real happy,” Coach Dave Crabb said of the race. “We were missing our top girl with an injury, and we knew Dansville was going to be tough. The kids gave it all they had.”
Molly Stewart and MacKenzie Ferlica scored first for the women, taking first and second overall. Their top 5 was finished with Laurence Leinders, Audrey Weber, and Emily Barnard, taking 6, 7 and 8 respectively.
Aaron Faulkenberry was the first Bulldog across for the men, taking third overall. Their top 5 consisted of Connor Wilkins (5), Franz Leinders (7), Dean Damon (14) and Trevor Horan (17).
The Bulldogs will race again Saturday, October 4 at Byron Bergen Central School. the Invitational is slated to begin at 8:45 a.m.
