County’s Main Roads Declared Clear with Travel Advisory in Effect

LIVINGSTON COUNTY – The Sheriff’s Office says that the County’s major roads are now clear and that the ‘no unnecessary travel’ advisory has now ended.

According to a press release from Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty advises that Livingston County is no longer under the ‘No Unnecessary Travel’ advisory.

“The travel conditions have improved on our primary roads within the county,” says the press release. “However, you may encounter some hazardous conditions on our secondary roads. The Highway Departments are still out working diligently to further improve conditions throughout the county.”

The travel advisory is still in effect and hazardous conditions do still exist.

The Sheriff’s Office advises that drivers provide themselves with extra time and drive safely.
