LIVINGSTON COUNTY – The Genesee Valley Health Partnership and Genesee River Hotel, with a long list of supporters, donors, and volunteers, presented a delicious taste of 15 local restaurants and caterers that both showcased the many pleasures of the appetite available to us in Livingston County but also that at many dining options, tasty is healthy.

Tuesday evening, representatives from 15 local restaurants and food vendors served a wide variety of dishes to the hungry crowd at the 17th annual Taste of Livingston County dinner and fundraiser, including Applebee’s, the Beachcomber, the Big Tree Inn, Brian’s USA Diner, Food Studio North from the SUNY Geneseo campus, the Krash Landing, the 3 Legged Pig, Leisure’s Restaurant, Omega Grill, Partyman Catering, Questa Lasagna, Suzea’s Bakery, and Wegmans, and of course Genesee River Restaurant.
The Geneseo String Band played pleasant upbeat music for everyone as they chowed down on sample dishes from all of the vendors.
Proceeds will go to Catholic Charities of Livingston County Food Pantry Program & the Livingston County Coalition of Churches Nursing Home Visitation Program.
