LIVONIA – The Livingston County Conservative Committee endorses Town Supervisor Eric Gott for re-election.
According to a press release from the Livingston County Conservative Party, they endorse Gott for his fiscal responsibility.
“In Livonia, Conservatives are pleased that a long-time friend of the Conservative Party is seeking its endorsement in his reelection as Town Supervisor,” said Livingston County Conservative Party Chair Jason McGuire. “Eric Gott currently serves as not only the Livonia Supervisor, but also as the Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors. He and his wife own an automotive repair shop in the Village of Livonia, and have been in business there for twenty-three years. Gott, a former Village Trustee and Town Board Councilman, brings years of experience in government operations to his position. However, it is his pattern of fiscal prudence with local tax dollars that most impresses the Conservative Party. Livonia’s property tax rate has dropped under Supervisor Gott, while the town can also proudly proclaim that it is completely debt free. The Livingston County Conservative Party appreciates Chairman Gott’s commitment to fiscal conservatism, and looks forward to working with him during another term.”
The county’s Conservative Party has endorsed candidates in three of the county’s 12 open seats.
“The Party will be actively involved in the Conesus, Lima and Livonia races for Town Supervisor, and continues conversation with additional candidates seeking this level of office in other towns,” said McGuire.
