LIVINGSTON COUNTY – A Dansville man is “staring prison right in the face,” according to Livingston County Judge Dennis Cohen after pleading guilty to giving two 15-year-old girls alcohol and marijuana in January.
Dansville resident Giovanni Mountzourous, 22, admitted to giving alcohol and marijuana to two 15 year-old girls at the Quality Inn in Geneseo while on probation for Attempted Forgery in the First Degree after being previously caught with four fake $100 bills.
“You’re really on the edge of things,” said Judge Cohen. “If you continue to violate, you’ll be gone, and and there may not be any good options for you at that point.”
Neither girl indicated that there had been any sexual contact between themselves and Mountzouros or Devon Sullivan, 20, who was also caught giving alcohol and marijuana to the minors.
Mountzouros pled guilty to Endangering the Welfare of a Child, an A misdemeanor, in Geneseo Village court, and was sentenced to 60 days in the Livingston County Jail and 3 years’ probation.
Mountzouros appeared in county court for disposition on his Violation of Probation (VOP) for committing Endangering while on probation for Attempted Forgery. His probation for the VOP will run at the same time as his probation for Endangering.
