Cops Trip Up Driver for Packing Psychedelics Through Geneseo

GENESEO – The Geneseo Police Department arrested a Honeoye Falls resident on drug charges for allegedly possessing drugs, a scale, and ‘a quantity of money.’

According to a press release from Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian, Joseph Eckert, 25, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, Inadequate Headlights and Inadequate Tail Lights, all of which are violations, on Court Street.

It is alleged that Eckert was in possession of mushrooms, LSD, marijuana, a scale, and ‘a quantity of money.’

Geneseo Village Justice Thomas Bushnell arraigned Eckert and ordered him held at the Livingston county Jail on $500 cash or $1,000 bond.
