Cops Find Drug Needles in Broken Down Pickup in Livonia

LIVONIA – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Arkport man on misdemeanor charges after responding to a report of a pickup disabled in the middle of the road.

According to a press release from Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, Jonathan Sick, 32, was arrested for misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument.

On May 17, 2017 Deputy Bryan Mann responded to Big Tree Road in the Town of Livonia after a passerby reported that a pickup truck was disabled in the middle of the road.

Upon arriving at the scene, Mann alleges that the pickup truck had switched license plates on it. Deputies charged the driver, a female, with three traffic infractions.

Searching the vehicle, deputies found what they believe to be drug paraphernalia, including hypodermic needles.

Sick was processed by Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail and will appear in court at a later date.
