CONESUS – The Conesus Town Planning Board is considering a zoning change to allow an adult entertainment establishment to build at Pucker Street and Sliker Hill Road.

A petition started last week through change.org has garnered 133 signatures calling for the Town of Conesus Town Board, Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Code Enforcement Office to ‘strictly apply to any existing or future decisions before them concerning the establishment of an ‘Adult Use Zone’ and notify residents of public hearings concerning ‘adult use zones.’ As of 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the Conesus Town Planning Board has not returned repeated requests for comment on the controversial site proposal.
“This type of ‘establishment’ in this small countryside, family oriented town,” posted Heidi Reitano of Livonia to the petition. “It will not be welcomed here!!”
White Holdings, LLC proposes the establishment of a 4.6+/- acre ‘adult Use Zone’ on the southwest corner of Sliker Hill Road and Pucker Street.
The petition says that White Holdings’ site plan is for a 3,200 square-foot building and 28-space parking area, to be a bar with topless female servers and live adult entertainment.
As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, the petition has 133 signatures towards a goal of 200. That goal could increase if it is met.
