CONESUS LAKE REMOVES BOAT RAMPS Oct. 18

 

The Conesus Lake Association has announced that it will be removing the metal ramps the week of Oct. 18, with the exact day to be announced later. The boat launch site itself, AT 5030 East Lake Rd. will be open, however.

There have been significant problems this year and other years at the launch because of power loading.  According to the Conesus Lake Associations newsletter, people are asked not to use power loading at the launch. It has caused significant holes, sand bars, and ruts. This condition may delay the re-installation of the ramps in the Spring for dredging.
