AVON – St. Agnes School was treated by a truly spectacular talent group who hail from China to put on a show for the students and local community members as part of the Fine Arts and Cultural Enrichment Program.
According to a press release from St. Agnes School, the four acrobats, ranging in age from 14 to 30 years old, seemed to defy the impossible with their flawless athleticism and balance.
The acrobats tumbled, juggled and unicycled to the awe and delight of all who watched. They juggled drums, vases and even a table with their feet, as well as traditional juggling of pins and hats.
They balanced spinning plates on sticks and made a human pyramid. They rode 6-foot unicycles as they balanced and tossed bowls onto their head.
The acrobats also taught the students some Chinese words such as ‘hello’ and ‘thank you.’
The Fine Arts and Cultural Enrichment Program regularly brings entertaining and interesting international acts and artists to St. Agnes every year.
