GENESEO — A Hornell man has been charged with marijuana possession after taking his child safety seat to the police for inspection where they then allegedly discovered drugs.

According to press release from the Village of Geneseo Police Department on Dec. 2 Matthew Houston, 20, brought his vehicle to the Geneseo Fire Hall for the courtesy child safety seat inspection, while police were installing the seat they apparently discovered the drugs.
Houston was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and is scheduled back in court on January 28.
