MOUNT MORRIS — Main street celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce as Charred American Bar + Grill celebrated their grand opening.
Owner, Thomas Provo, 25, who grew up in Mount Morris and graduated from RIT, returns after working in the Big Apple for the New York Palace Hotel with a vision of tasty food and a friendly atmosphere.
“This was a blank book and I’ve been able to design my own story,” said Provo. “It’s the connection between the family and friends that have been brought down from generations that make Mount Morris so special.”
The menu brings perfectly cooked steaks and an affordable price together. The 6 oz filet is $21 as well as a great lunch time menu that includes fried pickles as an appetizer.
The warm establishment offers later night food service until 10 p.m. and bar service on the weekends until 2 a.m.
