LIVINGSTON COUNTY – The finalists are in for the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce’s poll and contest on your favorite local businesses and attractions.
According to a Facebook post by the Chamber of Commerce, anyone can vote once per day in the multiple-choice poll, accessible here. With 2,629 nominations submitted, the Chamber has now released the top three businesses or attractions that were nominated in each category. Categories in which there was a tie have a fourth option in the poll.
“The whole purpose is to get people to shop local,” said Beth Doty, Executive Administrative Assistant with the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce. “This will tie into next month’s campaign to get people out during March, to fight cabin fever.”
The winners will be announced on March 2 on Facebook with the hashtag #LoveInLivingston and featured in the Chamber’s Find it in Livingston guide.
Doty added that the Chamber plans to hold the contest every year.
The categories include your favorite summer concert series, pizza place, cup of coffee and place to hike in Livingston County.
The contest will be open until midnight on Feb. 29.
